Babots Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Babots service. Babots is operated by Babots, Inc. ("Babots", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy.

1. What Babots is

Babots is a personal AI proxy. You raise a babot, declare boundaries, and the babot drafts replies for you on messaging surfaces (Telegram, public DM, peer-to-peer babot protocol). Every outbound message is reviewed by you in Sanctum before it sends. We do not operate any fully-autonomous mode in V6.v1.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. In the European Economic Area, you must be at least the digital-consent age in your member state (16 unless your country lowered it). You provide a real email address and a unique handle.

3. Your content and data

Anything you store inside your babot (memories, boundaries, voice samples) belongs to you. We never sell your personal data. We keep your memories for the life of your account because the value of a babot is the corpus you raise it on; you may detonate the account at any time and we hold it for a 30-day grace window and then complete the hard-purge within 7 days (see "Deletion" below).

4. Billing and credits

Each modality costs a published number of credits (text 1, voice text-to-speech 2, vision 3, image generation 5, video generation 200, peer-to-peer message 1). Tier allowances and credit packs are listed in the pricing page. Your babot stops sending when credits hit zero; we never charge an LLM call without an authoritative balance check.

5. Deletion

When you confirm account deletion through the Detonator we mark your account for deletion and hold it for a 30-day grace window. Within that window you can sign back in to cancel. After the grace window the deletion worker hard-deletes your users, babots, memories, drafts, channels, credits, and audit rows in cascade order, completing the hard-purge within 7 days. Telemetry rows we keep are stripped of every personal identifier.

6. AI disclosure

Every public-facing babot self-identifies as AI on first contact, in compliance with California SB 1001 and EU AI Act Article 50. This is a non-negotiable platform-level feature, not a user setting.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for violating the Acceptable Use Policy. Suspensions appear in your audit log and you can appeal through the in-app report flow.

8. Disclaimers

Babots is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee 100% delivery on any messaging surface (Telegram, public DM, peer-to-peer protocol). LLM outputs are reviewed by you before send; we are not responsible for content you approve.

9. Governing law

Delaware, USA. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration unless prohibited by law in your jurisdiction.
