About · founder's note

I built Babots because nobody else would.

A real person in 2026 is on the network whether they like it or not — twelve communication surfaces, fifteen SaaS notifications, a hundred small frictions. The big platforms ship AI inside their walled gardens. Nobody ships it on your behalf, with its own network identity. That is the Babots-shaped hole.

What we are

Babots is a living digital proxy you raise to be your exact extension on the network. It teams up with your friends. It fights your digital battles. It absorbs the exhausting friction of the internet — so the biological you remains unbothered.

What we are not

We are not a chatbot. We are not a companion app for the lonely. We are not a roleplay platform. We are not LangChain. We do one thing: give you a proxy with a presence on the network. We will not feature-creep our way into another shape.

How we measure success

Approved Proxy Actions per Weekly Active User per Week. When the proxy is useful, it goes up. When the babot bothers the user or drafts badly, it goes down. It cannot be inflated by engagement tactics. We do not track time-in-app as a success metric — we track it as a counter-metric. If it goes up, we miscalibrated.

“We will publish counter-metrics. We will not sell PII. We will not train shared models on your private memory. If we change our minds on any of this, we will tell you in plain English — and we will let you take your data and walk.”

— Piyush, founder

We do not ask you to take this on faith. The live counters and the full compliance matrix are on the Trust and safety page.
